About Me
Hello, my name is Jessica Jasso, and I am the founder and owner of Elevare Dance Academy.
Dance has been a lifelong passion of mine. From the moment I began taking classes as a young girl, I knew God had placed this calling on my heart. At 15, I pursued every opportunity to learn, training at the local college, assisting teachers, and earning my certification to teach. By 16, I was teaching Tap and Ballet at the Multi-Cultural Dance Center, joining their professional dance team, and traveling to perform Ballet Folklorico. I also choreographed ballroom-style dances for quinceañeras and weddings, sharing the joy of dance with families during their most meaningful celebrations.
Over the years, I taught homeschool co-op classes and eventually opened my first studio, Tippy Toes Dance Academy, in Idaho. When my family moved to Texas in 2021, I passed my Idaho studio on to others and began preparing to reopen my dream here in Texas.
Now, with Elevare Dance Academy, I feel blessed to begin this new chapter. Elevare means “Elevate” in Latin, and it reflects my vision: to lift dancers not only in skill and artistry but also in spirit. My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything I do, and I believe dance can be a beautiful way to glorify Him. At Elevare, my mission is to create an environment where students feel encouraged, supported, and inspired! I am excited to be able to work with you and your family.
